The NOAA SWPC provides Alerts, Watches and Warnings to the public at large about what to expect from Space Weather.

The NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC) keeps a close eye on the Sun and shares alerts, watches, and warnings about space weather that could affect life here on Earth. These updates cover everything from solar flares and radiation storms to geomagnetic disturbances. While this information is important for a wide range of industries like aviation and satellite ops not all of it applies directly to us ham radio operators.

Since we’re laser-focused on HF communications, we’ve trimmed the fat and kept only what matters most to HF. That means no clutter, just the alerts that impact HF.
